A short film celebrating the Bruce P. Dancik Collection of Angling Books housed at University of Alberta's Bruce Peel Special Collections has won two Arlies at the annual ARL Film Festival on 28 April 2021: Best of Development/Fundraising Films and Best Production.

The film features Dr Dancik reminiscing amidst his extensive personal book collection and a peak behind the scenes at the Peel library as his donated books are received, processed, prepared for
exhibition, and given a permanent home.

The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) Member Engagement and Outreach Committee hosted the sixth annual ARL Film Festival (the Arlies) on 28 April 2021. The Arlies film festival highlights and shares multimedia projects developed by member institutions to increase knowledge and use of libraries, their spaces, services, collections, and expertise. ARL members were invited to submit films of less than three minutes in the following categories: Collections-Focused, Development/Fundraising, Free-Form, How-To/Instruction, and Publicity/Marketing.
